Why are we here?

This blog has been created to document my trip to Thailand, Feb 13-Mar 1, 2010. This will not only be my first time away from North America but also my first experience with an ocean, so I have pretty high expectations.

At this point, I have my innoculations (ouch!), passport, and airline tickets taken care of. I even have some of my time planned. I will be uploading pics here, as well as telling you what happens to me each day I am over there.

So, if you know me - or are just interested in the chronicles of a voyage to the other side of the world - come back in four weeks and enjoy. :)
